Apex will utilize DentalXChange’s DDS Enroll E-Credentialing solution to deliver increased efficiency in credentialing and recredentialing for their dental clients.

DentalXChange, the creator of industry-leading electronic claims software, ClaimConnect, has announced a new partnership with Apex Reimbursement Specialists (Apex) through which Apex staff and providers will utilize DentalXChange’s DDS Enroll E-Credentialing software.

The popular credentialing software will allow Apex dental providers the ability to complete credentialing requirements online, access credentialing information online, input data digitally, upload supporting documents easily, and sign forms electronically in order to reduce time and errors in the credentialing process.

NEW CO-BRANDED DENTALXCHANGE AND DELTA DENTAL OF COLORADO SOFTWARE REDUCES CREDENTIAL PROCESSING FROM 90 DAYS TO 10 DAYS

Co-branded with Delta Dental of Colorado, DDS Enroll software has reduced credentialing processing times by 89 percent, dropping from 90 days to 10 days, according to Cheryl A. Lerner, DMD, Chief Clinical Officer of Delta Dental of Colorado.

“These results create a new benchmark for the industry,” says Dr. Lerner. “In just three short months, the DentalXChange team implemented a product that exceeds our expectations in every way. The concerns we had early on that providers would be hesitant to adopt the paperless process were quickly dispelled. Since our launch, 99.8 percent of all credentialing and recredentialing application packets have been submitted electronically.

2017 in Review with Scott Wellwood

I can honestly say that 2017 was one of the most eventful in our history. While we have faced many challenges, I am so proud of the way our entire Team has faced them head on, and converted them into opportunities for both personal and company growth.

Throughout the year, our focus has been to broaden the scope of our offerings to all of our stakeholders. We have continued to reduce our dependency on outside entities in some areas, while entering into strategic partnerships where it made sense.

Noteworthy developments include:

  • We have exceeded our forecasted growth in both claims and real-time transactions
  • Print claims have been reduced to an all-time low of less than 4%, facilitated by new EDI relationships with numerous payers large and small
  • Launch of our own Attachment service has rolled out extremely smoothly, with connections to most of our major Payer Partners contracted and in place
  • Launch of our DDS Enroll Credentialing services for both Providers and Payers, including a co-branded Payer portal for Delta Dental of Colorado
  • Rollout of a new DMD service improving functionality and accuracy
  • Expansion of our Merchant Services capabilities including:
    • EMV/FSA/HSA reprograming and implementation
    • PCI, EHNAC, and other security re-certifications
    • Improved Vendor integration with our Practice Management Partners
  • Production and deployment of Training videos for both internal and external audiences

DENTALXCHANGE LAUNCHES NEW CREDENTIALING SOLUTION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DELTA DENTAL OF COLORADO

  • Multi-carrier digital credentialing solution will be customized and co-branded for Delta Dental of Colorado

DentalXChange, the creator of industry-leading electronic claims solution, ClaimConnect, has announced a new partnership with Delta Dental of Colorado through which the two companies will launch the first-ever co-branded edition of DentalXChange’s popular DDS Enroll software.

The new offering will be the first in the nation to give Delta Dental providers the ability to complete credentialing requirementsonline—not only for Delta Dental of Colorado but for many different insurance companies, which will increase provider utilization, according to Dr. Cheryl A. Lerner, DMD, Vice President of Network and Clinical Management for Delta Dental of Colorado.

“Credentialing is a major pain point for dentists and insurance companies alike,” says Dr. Lerner. “Providers must be re-credentialed every three years in order for claims to be processed.
